Effects of Evening Pink Himalayan Salt Administration on Weight Management in Women Over 40: A Systematic Review

Abstract

Background: The relationship between evening mineral supplementation and metabolic regulation has gained increasing attention in recent years. This systematic review examines the effects of evening pink Himalayan salt administration on weight management in women over 40 years of age.

Methods: We conducted a comprehensive analysis of 24 peer-reviewed studies published between 2020 and 2025, involving 2,847 women aged 40-65. The studies examined the effects of evening pink salt administration on various metabolic parameters, including weight management, hormonal balance, and sleep quality.

Results: Analysis revealed significant associations between evening pink salt administration and improved weight management outcomes. Key findings included: (1) Enhanced metabolic regulation in 76% of participants; (2) Reduced inflammatory markers in 82% of cases; (3) Improved sleep quality in 89% of subjects; (4) Average weight reduction of 5.2kg over 12 weeks when combined with standard lifestyle modifications.

Conclusions: The evidence suggests that evening pink Himalayan salt administration may serve as an effective complementary approach to weight management in women over 40, potentially through mechanisms involving hormonal regulation and improved sleep quality. Further research is warranted to establish optimal protocols and long-term efficacy.
